What's On At
Community Church Deal?
Sunday Services
Our Sunday services take place at Deal Welfare Club, Cowdray Square Deal, CT14 9EU
We have a time of prayer from 9:30am and the main service starts at 10:30am. Coffee is available before and after the service, so why not come early for a hot drink and a chat?
We generally have a time of contemporary praise and worship, a message from the Bible and on the first Sunday of each month we share communion. Our services generally last around 1 hour.
Discipleship Connect Groups
During the week, on various days and times, we have a number of small discipleship groups that meet. These groups are a great way to go deeper into the Bible, pray and connect with church family.

Interest Connect Groups
As well as our Discipleship groups, there are also other interest groups each week. The groups provide an opportunity to grow relationships whilst also having a bit of fun, with both church family and others in the community.
Here is a selection of our current interest groups:
- Wednesday Golf
- Friday Badminton
- Thursday Coffee Club
- Saturday gaming evening
Tiny Toes
On Monday mornings at 9:30am we run our Tiny Toes group for parents, grandparents, carers and toddlers. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, fun craft activities and healthy snacks. There is a small charge of £2 per family and always plenty of tea and coffee on the go.
Tiny Toes takes place at Deal Welfare Club, Cowdray Square, Deal CT14 9EU.

Kids' Work
We run Kids' work during our service on Sundays. The children normally stay in for the first 15 minutes of the service whilst we have our time of praise and worship. They then go to their own group with our volunteers, who are all DBS checked and have done appropriate safeguarding training.
If you haven't been to Community Church Deal before, we will need a little time to register your child before they join the kids work. Why not contact Rachel, our Kid's ministry leader in advance so she can tell you more and do the paperwork up front.
Youth Work
We run youth work on Friday evenings, which is a relaxed social time with games and food. We also have periodic events like "clip and climb" and tobogganing, plus a camp during the summer.
On Sunday mornings, the youth have their own time together whilst the main service is going on but stay in for the first 15 minutes or so of worship time.
All our volunteers are DBS checked and have done appropriate safeguarding training.
If you haven't been to Community Church Deal before, we will need a little time to register your child before they join the youth work. Why not contact Jes, our pastor in advance so he can tell you more and do the paperwork up front.
Community Projects
We are passionate about our community and alongside our own activities we support other local initiatives aimed at helping those who are vulnerable or need additional support in order to thrive.
Our sister charity, Leaps and Bounds Community Project, works with adults who have additional physical or educational needs by providing life skills training, a caring and safe environment and social interaction that they might otherwise not have access to, due to their disabilities. Clients can enjoy crafting, pottery and cooking, and we also have a newly installed sensory room where they can take time out in a soothing and inspiring space.
The project also provides valuable respite for parents and carers, many of whom have few other sources of help. You can find out more about Leaps and Bounds here: https://www.facebook.com/debbieleapsandbounds/
Community Church Deal also takes weekly collections for Deal Area Food Bank.
Overseas Mission
In response to the Great Commission, we want to see the Good News of the Gospel shared across the world.
In recent years, we have supported mission work in Africa and Asia. At the moment, our focus is on Central and Eastern Europe, with a specific project to plant a church in Pécs, Hungary, as the core of our current activity. We are partnering with 5 other Apostolic churches and individuals across the UK in this endeavour.
